About me....
I love helping people grow lush, organic gardens that are sustainable and regenerative for the earth. I know first hand what it is like to juggle family life and sustainable living aspirations and how important time is! So I share key skills and practices that are easy for you to apply to be a confident gardener.
I gained my sustainable horticulture qualifications in 2010 and completed my Permaculture Design Certificate in 2011 while working at the Koanga Institute. Over the last decade, I have taught and mentored dozens of people while raising my family and holistically developing our own land. I've designed food forests, diverse orchard garden systems, run a small-scale flower farmer/florist operation and facilitated workshops in everything from wild weed identification to bio-intensive gardening. I am currently engaged in the management, planning and implementation of a thriving health focused garden space which produces food for community.
The essential design tools I teach in this masterclass will leave you with the confidence to plan, plant and maintain your edible gardens with ease and focus. You will come away with a new outlook and the ability to provide yourself and your family and friends with delicious nutrient-rich food grown in beautiful healthy soil.
I live on the sunny temperate/sub-tropical east coast of NZ with my family of four, 2 cats, a bunch of ducks, several chickens and many, many other forms of biological life.
